Local Parish Ministry
San Juan Chapel
One of our Sunday Ministries is to visit people and attend mass together with them in the chapels near our Novitiate house in Dumalag. There are eight chapels, known as GKK’s (basic ecclesial communities) which are under the authority of St. Pablo Parish in Davao. Fr. John Larsen SM began this ministry in 1994 and a Marist priest from the Dumalag community says mass for one of these eight chapels every Sunday.
Right now, every Sunday, Fr. Anggong says mass and two novices visit the people and attend mass in the chapel.
